Strong Bahraini-Egyptian relations stressed

Manama, Apr. 25 (BNA): Bahraini Ambassador to Egypt Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa, the Permanent Representative to the Arab League, described the visit of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to Egypt on April 26 and 27 and the discussions he will hold with Egyptian President Abdelfattah El-Sissi as a boost to growing bilateral relations. He said in a statement to Bahrain News Agency (BNA) that the visit is highly welcomed by the Egyptian leadership, government and people, stressing appreciation of Bahrain's support to Egypt which sets a model to emulate in solid fraternal relations. He underscored growing relations between both countries, pointing out that HM the King was the first Arab leader to visit Egypt in support of the Egyptian people's choice and free will in implementing the roadmap for the future. He noted that HM the King's repeated visits to Egypt are a clear evidence of strong ties binding both countries and a reflection of keenness to support Egypt in its efforts to boost stability and achieve sustainable development. He expressed hope the prospective visit of HM the King would further cement bilateral fraternal links and promote bilateral coordination in protecting the Arab national security and facing fast-paced challenges in the region and the whole world.
