Shura Chairman receives GFBTU President, members

Manama, Apr. 25 (BNA): Shura Council Chairman Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh received today the General Federation of Bahrain Trade Unions (GFBTU) President and members. He stressed the role of the labour force in building the national economy and boosting achievements. He praised the high competence of Bahraini workers, pointing out the need for continuous cooperation with the competent authorities with regard to labour affairs. He congratulated the work force in Bahrain on the advent of the International Labour Day, wishing them every success. He also stressed the Shura Council's keenness to pass more legislation to regulate the relationship between the employers and employees and protect their rights.
