International Embassies Bazaar to be held in May

Manama, Apr. 26 (BNA): The Children and Mothers Welfare Society is set to hold the annual International Embassies Bazaar on May 2 at the society's premises with the participation of 34 Arab and foreign embassies. His Royal Highness the Premier's wife Shaikha Hessa bint Ali bin Hamad Al Khalifa will patronise the event which will be attended by HRH the Prime Minister's daughter Shaikha Lulua bint Khalifa Al Khalifa. A wide range of items, including traditional clothes, dishes, antiques and accessories produced by the participating countries, will go on display. Besides, the exhibition will also feature a new pavilion for sweet and salty international dishes prepared by the participating embassies as well as Arab and foreign communities. People can visit the bazaar from midday to 3 pm. Proceeds will be used to support kindergartens and nurseries affiliated with the Children and Mothers Welfare Society.
