BRNMEDIAOFFICE social media accounts launched

Manama, Apr. 27 (BNA): The Media Office and Information Centre of HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa the Representative of HM the King for Charity Works and Youth Affairs, Chairman of the Supreme Council of Youth and Sports (SCYS) and President of Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC), at the directives of His Highness has launched a series BRNMEDIAOFFICE social media accounts. A quantum leap in communication and interaction with the public, the webpages aim to reach out and interact with the public and inform them about latest philanthropic, youth and sports events undertaken or patronized by HH Shaikh Nasser. The accounts have attracted massive response from the public in view of the huge activity and informative content of His Highness over Instagram, Twitter and YouTube. HH Shaikh Nasser said the launching of the said social media accounts in the Media Office of His Highness comes as part of the Media Office's maintaining the pace of development in the media arena, especially fast transformations of modern social media networks to provide everyone the opportunity to follow up latest developments of youth and sports related events and activities organized by the Media Office of His Highness in view of increasingly growing key role of social communication networks and in line with the strategy of the Media Office of His Highness, in addition to external participation to keep the masses informed on firsthand basis. His Highness added that the Media Office strives to communicate with the masses harnessing the fastest and most facile methods, citing the increasingly growing usage of social communication media that makes it imperative to be present on such sites powerfully and effectively through the development of the Office's accounts to publish its news and activities in addition to transmitting the special media messages of the Office and to publicize its objectives, mission and strategy.
