Drug traffickers arrested, 1kg of heroin seized

Manama, Apr. 27 (BNA): The anti-narcotics squads arrested two Asians and seized about one kilogramme of heroine worth BD112,000. The officers caught the traffickers red-handed and confiscated 141 capsules of heroin and cash money. The director-general of the General Directorate for Criminal Investigation and Forensic Evidence said that the two traffickers were planning to sell the drug in the Capital Governorate. In a statement today, he said that legal action is underway prior to referring the case to the Public Prosecution.
