CSB application wins award

Kuwait, May 1 (BNA): The Civil Service Bureau (CSB)’s application for government employee won the trophy of the smart government award contest on the best Arab smart applications of authorities and community organisations in its seventh edition. The CSB President Mr. Ahmed bin Zayed Al Zayed received the award during a ceremony held in Kuwait under the patronage of Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs Shaikh Mohammed Abdullah Al-Mubarak Al-Sabah, in cooperation between the Central Agency for Information Technology and the Excellence Awards Academy in the Arab region. The CSB president dedicated the award to the leadership, describing it as one of the achievements in pace with the overall vision of the Kingdom of Bahrain in the field of e-government, smart applications and providing services to citizens electronically, particularly employees in the civil service sector. The CSB President stressed that the award underscores the tremendous achievements made by the Bahrain in the e-government field and in promoting the use of modern technologies in accordance with the best international standards to optimise services. The application, he explained, allows government employees to access their information and services through their smart devices very easily. (CSB)
