Information minister hails strong Bahrain-UAE relations

Manama, May 4 (BNA): Information Affairs Minister Ali bin Mohammed Al-Rumaihi has lauded the depth of the long-standing Bahraini-UAE relations, progressing steadily in all fields thanks to mutual appreciation and respect between the two countries' leaderships and peoples, as well as their kinship ties and common destiny. While receiving the UAE Ambassador to Bahrain Abdul Ridha Abdulla Al-Khoury, the minister expressed the Kingdom's pride in the fraternal firm stances of the UAE leadership and people in support of Bahrain's security and stability. Such stances and outstanding relations between the two countries, under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the UAE President HH Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, embody a model for GCC fraternity and Arab solidarity, Al-Rumaihi said. The UAE Envoy expressed thanks and appreciation to the Information Affairs Minister for his interest in consolidating media cooperation at the bilateral and GCC levels. He also affirmed his keenness on enhancing the solid bilateral relations in various fields for the best interests of the two countries and their peoples.
