HRH Premier: Development is on the right path

Manama, May 8 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa received at the Gudaibiya Palace today some Royal Family members and senior state officials. HRH the Prime Minister asserted that despite the current economic challenges, the development process in the kingdom is continuing on the right path to achieve its goals and bring about more gains that meet the citizens' needs and upgrade the level of housing, education and health services they currently enjoy. HRH Premier urged concerted efforts to expedite the development and service projects so as to ensure they are completed according to schedule to achieve the expected impact and fulfill the citizens' aspirations. The currently implemented development projects to develop the infrastructure of the energy, housing, health and education sectors are a living proof of the vitality of the Bahraini economy and the sustainability of its progress in a way that meets the citizens' needs for a decent life, he said. HRH Premier recalled the role played by Bahraini families in consolidating development efforts in various fields, lauding the Bahraini society's authentic values that promote interaction, cohesion and unity. HRH Premier also reviewed with the audience the latest regional and global developments amid the multiple threats to the region. In this regard, the Prime Minister lauded the role played by Saudi Arabia which he described as a protective shield against schemes aimed at fragmenting and dividing the Arab and Islamic Nation.
