Crown Prince meets former Jordanian Prime Minister

Manama, May 8 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, today met the former Prime Minister of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, Dr Abdelsalam al-Majali, at Riffa Palace. During the meeting, the Crown Prince welcomed the long-standing ties between Bahrain and Jordan and stressed both countries’ commitment to advancing cooperation in order to achieve long-term stability and prosperity across the region. The Crown Prince and former Prime Minister discussed a number of regional and international issues, during which the Crown Prince stressed that close cooperation amongst regional partners is a vital component of deterring those who attempt to undermine regional development and security.
