NIHR Vice Chairman meets French officials

Paris, May 21 (BNA): National Institute for Human Rights (NIHR) Vice Chairman Abdulla Al-Derazi met Patrizianna Sparacino-Thiellay French Ambassador at Large for Human Rights, in charge of Holocaust Issues at the French Foreign Ministry. He briefed the French official on NIHR-led dedicated efforts to protect human rights, highlighting social, political cultural and educations programmes and activities lined up by the watchdog. Al-Derazi also met French Human Rights Commission Secretary-General Michel Frost, General Secretary of the National Human Rights Commission of France and discussed cooperation to exchange expertise and hold joint workshops.
