PPA COUNTING FUNDS FOR RESTRUCTURING TEN STATE COMPANIES

Jakarta, Jan 14 (ANTARA) - State-owned Asset Management Company (PPA) is calculating the total funds required for restructuring ten state enterprises (BUMNs).

"The money for restructuring ten state enterprises is being discussed based on the result of their due diligence," PPA's Managing Director Boyke Mukizat said here Wednesday, adding that the program is now being implemented.

Earlier, state enterprises minister Sofyan Djalil announced the ten BUMNs under the PPA restructuring program, they are PT Merpati Nusantara Airline, PT Pal Indonesia (shipbuilding and engineering), PT Industri Gelas, PT Djakarta Lloyd, PT Hotel Indonesia Natour, PT Semen Kupang and PT Kertas Kraft Aceh (paper).

The minister said that the ten enterprises were subjected to restructuring because of their financial problems.
