HM the King holds call with Jordanian Monarch

Manama, May 25 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa today held a telephone call with HM King Abdulla II Ibn Al-Hussain of Jordan. HM the King congratulated HM King Abdulla II on his country's Independence Day, wishing him abundant good health and happiness and the brotherly Jordanian people further progress and prosperity. HM King Hamad also congratulated HM King Abdulla II on the graduation of his son, HRH Prince Al-Hussain bin Abdulla II, the Crown Prince, from Georgetown University in Washington, USA. The two leaders reviewed the solid Bahraini-Jordanian relations, and ways to bolster them in various fields for the best interests of the two kingdoms and their brotherly peoples. HM the King lauded the honourable stances of Jordan, under the leadership of HM King Abdulla II, as well as its support to the just Arab issues, and keenness to enhance joint Arab action. HM King Hamad and HM King Abdulla II discussed the current regional and global developments and the need to coordinate stances on them, affirming the importance of enhancing Arab solidarity during the current critical phase to be able to confront challenges amid the rapidly-unfolding regional events that require more consultation and coordination.
