Papers Censure S. Korean Minister's Reckless Remarks
Pyongyang, May 31 (KCNA) -- Some days ago, Minister of Unification of south Korea Hong Yong Phyo in a special lecture of the overseas regional meeting of the "Advisory Council for Democracy and Peaceful Unification" uttered ill-minded remarks that the "dialogue is not a cure-all" and it is time to "lead the north to changes" through "sanctions", not dialogue. And the next day at a joint press conference he slandered the DPRK's proposal for holding military authorities' talks between the north and the south, groundlessly terming it "one for evading the responsibility for nuclear development", and jabbered that it is time to "lead the north to changes".
Rodong Sinmun on Tuesday observes in a commentary in this regard:
It is no more than a shameful gibberish of an idiot who is not aware of a sign of ruin looming before him, far from thinking about the deep intention of the DPRK's proposal for dialogue.
This clearly shows that he is really a heinous confrontational maniac and warmonger.
Minju Joson in a commentary stresses that the south Korean authorities had better behave themselves with discretion, judging with cool heads what tragic consequences will be entailed by their bat-blind act of refusing to accept the fair and aboveboard and patriotic proposal of the DPRK. -0-
