Bahraini-Swiss municipal cooperation discussed

Manama, May 31 (BNA): Works, Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning Minister today received Swiss Honorary Consul to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Humbert Vincent Buemi. Benefiting from the Swiss expertise in the infrastructure projects were discussed, as well as landscaping and beautifying main public parks and streets in various areas of Bahrain. The two sides also discussed benefiting from the Swiss expertise in the Tubli Bay clean-up operations to ensure the preservation of the environmental aspects and human health. The minister stressed keenness to bolster cooperation atvarious levels, praising the solid bilateral relations between the two countries. The Swiss Honorary Consul pointed HM the King's visit to Switzerland which has further strengthened the bilateral relations between the two friendly countries.
