Need to tap on youth's media creativity stressed

Manama, June 1 (BNA): Information Minister Ali bin Mohammed Al Rumaihi lauded contribution of the Bahraini youth to the development process and upgrading the media work, describing them as the real assets of the nation and the generators of more achievements under the pioneering royal reform project. He was speaking as he received today 50 outstanding youth competencies in the media field and in producing artistic works and short films. He reviewed ways of availing of young national competencies and their innovative ideas to develop TV channels and their ways of tackling national issues responsibly and professionally. He unveiled a plan by the Information Ministry to organise a competition to tap on the youth's media creativity and discover talents in the media field.
On their part, the youth participating in the meeting thanked the Information Minister for his keenness to communicate with them, taking pride in his confidence in the young national competencies and their ability to take part effectively and creatively in developing TV programmes and producing more artistic works that reflect tolerance and unity of the Bahraini community.
