Premier receives Philippine President Special Envoy

Manama, June 2 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa received today Special Envoy of the Philippines President to the GCC countries Dr. Amable Aguiluz who conveyed to him the greetings of the Philippines President-elect Rodrigo Duterte as well as his best wishes of abundant good health to him and further progress and prosperity to Bahrain and its people. HRH the Premier lauded growing relations between the two friendly countries and joint keenness to bolster bilateral cooperation in the political, economic, trade and investment fields. He stressed constructive bilateral cooperation and keenness to further enhance it to achieve the aspirations of both countries and peoples. He also pointed out the importance of exchanging visits to avail of the investment opportunities in both countries. HRH the Prime Minister praised the remarkable contribution of the Philippine community to Bahrain’s development and asked Dr. Aguiluz to convey his greetings and best wishes to the Philippines President. The Philippines President’s Special Envoy commended the role of HRH the Premier in boosting bilateral cooperation, underlining his country’s interest in bolstering relations with Bahrain for the common interest of both countries and peoples.
