Energy minister receives MB Petroleum delegation

Manama, June 2 (BNA): Energy Minister Abdul Hussain bin Ali Mirza received a delegation from the Mohammed Al-Barwani Petroleum Services company (MB Petroleum Services), led by its Regional Director Amer Al-Barwani. The minister lauded the company's great achievements and successes in many fields, especially oil and gas, stressing the importance of the integrated services it delivers across the world, including drilling and oilfield services. He wished it further success. He discussed with the delegation issues pertaining to oil, gas, energy and investment in them, highlighting the key role played by such a vital sector. Al-Barwani gave a presentation on the company's achievements since its establishment in 1982 in Oman and opening of its Bahrain branch in 2010. He also highlighted the company's relations with various world companies to provide high-quality services in the fields of drilling and maintenance of oil wells. Members of the delegation expressed appreciation to the minister for the audience and the key issues raised during it, praising the key role played by the National Oil and Gas Authority (NOGA) in regulating the oil and gas sector in the kingdom since its establishment in 2005.
