Bahrain moon-sighting panel to meet on Sunday night

Manama, June 3 (BNA): The moon-sighting committee will convene on Sunday night (June5) at the Supreme Islamic Affairs Council (SIAC) headquarters to receive news and testimonies from Bahrain and the Islamic World confirming the advent of the holy month of Ramadan. A SIAC statement today urged the public to call the panel promptly and report any sighting of the moon confirming the advent of Ramadan. The council wished many happy returns to the people of Bahrain in the prosperous era of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa. It also extended good wishes to His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al-Khalifa, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Premier, the Royal Family, the people of Bahrain as well as the Arab and Islamic nations.
