UNESCO chooses UoB's QA system as a model 2

Manama, June 5 (BNA): University of Bahrain (UoB)'s President Dr. Riyadh Yousef Hamza expressed pride and boasting in the UNESCO International Educational Planning Institute's choice of the university's Quality Assurance (QA) system among top eight universities worldwide as a model to be taught. Dr. Hamza congratulated the Director of Quality Assurance Centre in the university as well as all quality assurance offices in the various colleges. He praised the university's Quality Assurance Centre's expertise as one of the significant inspirational experiences in ceaselessly working to upgrade the standard of its academic programmes in a highly competitive world of fast transformations and development. He said the University of Bahrain as the principal national university in the Kingdom of Bahrain is taking part in this race and on the advanced ranking positions. The university's adopting quality assurance policy in all details of work is not an option but a duty binding on all of us if we aspire to be among the ambitious, progressive universities internationally, he concluded.
