Repatriation of dead Bahrain from Jordan underway

Manama, June 5 (BNA): Efforts are underway to quickly repatriate the body of Bahraini Bayan Riyadh who died in a private hospital in Jordan. The move follows directives from His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al-Khalifa who gave orders to finalise all administrative and financial arrangements. In a statement tonight, Health Minister Faeqa bint Said Al-Saleh said that relevant authorities at Salmaniya Medical Complex (SMC) will provide all required assistance to discharge the body and ensure its repatriation to Bahrain, in cooperation with Jordanian authorities. The Health Ministry is also coordinating the procedures with the Foreign Ministry, as per HRH the Premier's directives, extending condolences to the bereaved family and praying to rest the deceased in eternal peace.
