Promoting national media cadres underlined

Manama, June 5 (BNA): Minister of Information Affairs, Ali bin Mohammed Al Rumaihi, has stressed keenness to promote national media cadres' technical and vocational capabilities to keep pace with the political and economic openness and comprehensive development march taking place during the prosperous era of HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. This came during the graduation ceremony held for 56 employees of the Ministry of Information Affairs as they passed the Professional Press Certification organized by the Royal University for Women in collaboration with French media organizations and the support of "Tamkeen" and the Bahrain Development Bank. The Information Minister welcomed cooperation with France in the field of development of human resources and exchange of expertise. The minister praised the comprehensive training programme that comes in activation of the two agreements signed with the Journalists' Professional Training Centre (CFPJ) and French National Audiovisual Institute (INA) during HM the King's visit to France in 2015. The minister, in the presence of French Ambassador to Bahrain Bernard Regnauld Fabre, highlighted eagerness to organise training courses in collaboration with national universities and international media institutions to boost media cadres' professional competence and tap on their potentials in projecting Bahrain's achievements brought about by the reform project of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. He stressed to continue establishing partnerships with national academic institutions for the promotion of the output of the educational process, and promoting national media cadres.
