HRH Premier praises Bahrainis' distinction, patriotism

Manama, June 7 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa said that the Bahraini Mind has led civilisation and development in every field, noting that Bahrainis have been known for their distinction at the regional and international levels. He recalled with pride and gratitude the contributions of Bahrainis to enhancing their country’s progress, and stressed that their imprints represent beacons that enlighten Bahrain’s history, voicing deep pride in the honourable patriotic stances of Bahrainis which, he said, will remain engraved in the national history. "Let everyone do their utmost to preserve the specificity of the Bahraini society in rapprochement and values of fraternity that have made Bahrain a bright civilisational role model for co-existence and acceptance of the other," he said. HRH the Prime Minister made the statements while receiving senior state officials and citizens. HRH Premier emphasised that Bahrain is a one family whose members have contributed a lot for the sake of the nation. The Prime Minister pointed out that the challenges created by some global political and economic developments require more vigilance and concerted efforts to keep the Bahraini society away from their impacts. He affirmed that repercussions of the latest developments go beyond the economic and political levels, and do have social effects, which, he said, regretfully reflects negatively on the society’s cohesion, urging everyone to assume their responsibilities in supporting and strengthening national unity to foil counter threats.
