Biography of new Interior Ministry Undersecretary

Manama, June 14 (BNA): The following is a biography of Shaikh Nasser bin Abdulrahman bin Mohammed Al Khalifa who was appointed today as Interior Ministry Undersecretary by royal decree 49: -- He joined the Interior Ministry in 1981. -- He obtained a Bachelor Degree in police sciences from the Police College in Kuwait in 1984. -- He worked in many sectors in the General Directorate of Traffic until 1996. -- He set up the General Directorate of Traffic Training Centre as the first specialised college to train officers and affiliates from the directorate. -- He worked in the private sector from 1996 to 2010. -- In 2010, he was appointed Director General of the General Directorate of Clearing and Customs Inspection at the Customs Affairs. -- On November 1, 2013, he was appointed Director General of the General Directorate of Traffic. -- He attended many advanced sessions in administration and crises management. -- He took part in many GCC meetings. -- He is married and has two sons and one daughter.
