Manama, June 15 (BNA): Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) has recently received an official letter from the Ministry of Transport and Telecommunication (MTT) stating that the government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) will prevent the entry of any non-Saudi passenger buses from entering Saudi territory unless it meets the new bus-specifications. According to the new specifications, passenger buses must not exceed 10 years from manufacturing date, must have a passenger occupancy of not less than 75%, must have a valid technical inspection certificate, must be air-conditioned and comfortable for long distance travel, must have necessary safety and emergency tools including first-aid kit with a manifest of the names of all passengers and the purpose of their trip.
