Crown Prince receives 27th Arab Summit invitation letter on behalf of His Majesty

Manama, June 15 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, this evening met the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania, Isselkou Ould Ahmed Izid Bih, at Riffa Palace. During the meeting, the minister delivered a letter from Mauritania’s President, Mohamed Ould Abdel Aziz, to His Majesty King Hamad. The letter was received by the Crown Prince and included an official invitation to His Majesty to attend the forthcoming 27th Arab League summit in Mauritania next month. The Crown Prince and the minister also discussed bilateral ties between Bahrain and Mauritania , during which the Crown Prince highlighted the importance of developing them to support mutual interests. The minister conveyed the best wishes of Mauritania’s President to His Majesty and the people of Bahrain, and re-affirmed Mauritania’s commitment to further developing bilateral cooperation with the Kingdom of Bahrain. Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, Minister of Foreign Affairs, attended the meeting.
