SME Expo Spring Up Thailand to be held in Bangkok

BANGKOK, June 16 (TNA) - Bangkok-based Siam Commercial Bank (SCB) has cooperated with more than 200 public and private agencies in organising the so-called "SME Expo Spring Up Thailand" in four cities in the country, starting from Bangkok during July 7-10, 2016. Supan Mongkolsuthee, chairman of the working committee promoting the fair, told journalists on Thursday that the SME Expo Spring Up Thailand is aimed at providing knowledge to enthusiastic persons wishing to run their businesses and giving an opportunity to existing SME operators to cooperate in synergy. Supan, who is also honourary Chairman of the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI), said for the first "SME Expo Spring Up Thailand" event, to be held at Central Plaza shopping complex in Bangkok's Lat Phrao area and foreseen to attract about 20,000 visitors, there will be an exhibition on SMEs and a seminar in which more than 100 shops will participate. Besides, SME Expo Spring Up Thailand will be later organised in Udon Thani Province in the Thai Northeast, Chiang Mai in the Thai North and Hat Yai District of Songkhla Province in the Thai South, each expected to attract over 30,000 visitors.
