Premier chairs work meeting

05 : 50 PM - 16/06/2016 Manama, June 16 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa chaired at Gudaibiya Palace today a work meeting to follow up on procedures taken by the government to protect political work from veering off the national track. HRH the Premier affirmed the government’s pledge to take more procedures to maintain Bahrain’s security and stability and prevent foreign interference. He stressed that any organisational procedures taken aim to foster commitment to laws, regulations and the national track in political work. He said no country in the world can allow terrorising its people and undermining its security and stability, adding that the procedures taken by Bahrain in this respect aim to protect the Bahraini people and protect the nation from sliding into the cauldron of sedition and division. At his meeting with the Deputy Premiers, the Foreign Minister, the Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments Minister, the Information Minister and a number of officials, HRH the Prime Minister urged to speed up action in facing forces of subordination to foreign political and religious reference, advocates of terrorism and extremism, law violators and those trying to tarnish Bahrain’s advanced standing in the human rights and democratic field. HRH the Premier also urged regional and international coordination in fighting terrorism and extremism, affirming that Bahrain will never be a gateway for any danger to the GCC countries but will remain a bulwark against terrorism and extremism. "National security can never be waived or compromised," he asserted, underlining Bahrain’s right to take the necessary measures to maintain its security and stability as well as ensure the safety of its people.
