HM the King points Bahrain as state of law, institutions

Manama, June 16 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, today at Sakhir Palace, received citizens from the Capital Governorate, within his interest in meeting Bahrainis from the various governorates during the holy month of Ramadan. The citizens offered deepest congratulations to HM the King on the advent of Ramadan and wished him good health and happiness and the Kingdom of Bahrain further progress and prosperity. They hailed HM the King's interest in following up citizens' issues and providing them with means of decent life. They reiterated standing by the royal leadership and visions for bringing further progress and prosperity to the people of Bahrain. In his speech, HM the King welcomed the attendees and exchanged Ramadan greetings. He praised their noble feelings and loyal stances, and the Capital citizens' contributions to the progress and development of the homeland. HM the King pointed his interest in boosting the national action march and the development of its political, economic and social aspects in line with the reform and modernization project as a basis for Bahrain's comprehensive development process to bolster the homeland's security and stability for bringing further prosperity and achieving Bahrain Vision 2030 and meeting the citizens' aspirations. HM the King commended the Bahrainis' loyalty lie with the protection of the national achievements and gains so as Bahrain to become a destination for acquiring knowledge, work and pleasure, thanks to the Bahrainis who have realized the risk posed by foreign interference in Bahrain's internal affairs aimed at derailing the homeland's stability. He noted the unrest and turmoil sweeping across a number of the Middle East countries. "Yet Bahrain remains a state of institutions and the law and a country of coexistence, fairness and moderation" HM the King stressed. On Behalf of the Capital citizens, Yusuf Salahaldine, in his speech, congratulated HM the king on the advent of Ramadan and wished Bahrain and its people, Arab and Islamic nations progress and prosperity. He reiterated allegiance to HM the king, the government led by HRH Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa and HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister. He praised the national achievements made during the prosperous era of HM the King. He underlined principles of justice, equality and respect for human rights enjoyed by Bahrain as a country of friendship, coexistence and tolerance. He noted the Capital Governorate's needs for more housing projects to meet the aspirations of the increasing number of citizens. He requested to beautify the capital's seafront to become a desirable tourist point. Capital Governor Shaikh Hisham bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa congratulated HM the King and Bahraini people on the advent of Ramadan and wished HM the King, Arab and Islamic nations many happy returns. He highlighted the royal directives that have reinforced the national development movement and launching housing projects to benefit more than 5000 families in East Sitra housing project. He reiterated allegiance to HM the King and welcomed the royal efforts aimed at uplifting the homeland.
