Labour minister chairs Family Bank meeting

Manama, June 17 (BNA): Labour and Social Development Minister Jameel bin Mohammed Ali-Humaidan chaired the board meeting of the Family Bank. The minister, also chairman of the Family Bank which was established in 2010, presided over the annual meeting of the institution. The session discussed support to productive families, micro projects and young entrepreneurs as part of efforts to enhance Bahraini families’ standards of living and promote their economic empowerment. The panel focused on the role of the Family bank in supporting the Government-led programmes and initiatives to tackle unemployment and encourage job-seekers to set up their own businesses.. The board meeting was also attended by Family Bank Vice Chairman Dr. Mustapha Al-Sayyed, Chief executive Officer Dr. Khalid Ateeq and other officials.
