Bahrain’s anti-terror efforts lauded

Cairo, June 17 (BNA): Arab Parliament Speaker, Ahmed Al-Jarwan, has lauded the efforts exerted by the relevant authorities in the Kingdom of Bahrain to confront the "desperate attempts made by treacherous hands". In a statement issued today, Al-Jarwan said that the role played by Bahrain in "defending the Arab Nation from the eastern gate, which is exporting terrorism and sectarianism, is great and honourable". The Arab Parliament chief also commended the efforts made by the Kingdom of Bahrain, under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, to maintain security, peace and development. He stressed the determination and steadfastness of the Government of Bahrain in countering regional interference and clamping down on terrorism, lauding, in this regard, the efforts of His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa. Al-Jarwan condemned all forms of external interference in the domestic affairs of Bahrain, in particular, and those of the Arab countries, in general, calling on the International Community to put an end to such blatant meddling.
