Labour minister meets Indonesian ambassador

Manama, June 20 (BNA): Labour and Social Development Minister, Jameel bin Mohammed Ali Humaidan, met the Ambassador of Indonesia to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Chilman Arisman. They explored the bilateral cooperation in various fields, especially in the labour field, and development of labour protection and social welfare regulations in the interest of both countries. The ambassador expressed his government's appreciation of the bilateral relations with the Kingdom of Bahrain. He commended the kingdom for its protection and caring for the Indonesian community and workers in Bahrain. He praised the role undertaken by the Labour Market Regulatory Authority (LMRA) that ensures the rights of Indonesian workers, affirming his keenness on developing the bilateral ties in all fields.
