Royal praise for patriotic efforts

Manama, June 20 (BNA): HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, in the presence of HRH Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, today at Sakhir Palace, received Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) Commander-in-Chief Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, National Guard Commander, Lt-Gen Shaikh Mohammed bin Isa Al Khalifa, Interior Minister Lt-Gen Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa and senior BDF, National Guard and Interior officers. The attendees expressed utmost congratulations to HM the king on the advent of the holy month of Ramadan. They wished him abundant good health and happiness and Bahrain and its people further progress and prosperity under the wise royal leadership. HM the King exchanged Ramadan greetings with the attendees and wished them many happy returns. In his keynote speech, HM the King expressed appreciation of the exceptional efforts of the BDF, National Guard and Interior personnel in maintaining the homeland's security and stability in conformity with the rule of law and the regulations in force. HM the King took pride in the BDF participation within the Saudi-led Arab coalition to restore legitimacy in Yemen. He prayed to Almighty God to rest the souls of those who sacrificed their souls and set fine examples in patriotism and dedication in defending the homeland and the region's security and stability.
