Registration for RCO scholarship to open

Manama, June 21 (BNA): The Royal Charity Organisation (RCO) has announced that registration for the scholarships of the academic year 2016-2017 will be open from June 26 to July 14. Director of RCO’s Customer Service Ali Qambar said that the scholarships are within the educational care provided by RCO for its students, in line with the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, RCO’s Honorary President, to provide an opportunity for RCO affiliates to enjoy their right to education, and encourage them to continue their university studies. He explained that the scholarships are within HM the King’s kind gesture from which about 600 students have benefited so far. He added that scholarships will be granted for students to study in Bahrain, noting that priority will be given to students with the highest cumulative averages. RCO affiliate students who graduated in 2015-2016 with a cumulative average of 80% or more can apply for RCO scholarships.
