King Fahad Causeway Authority issues 2015 report

Manama, June 21 (BNA): King Fahad Causeway Authority issued its 29th annual report for the fiscal year 2015. The authority’s Director General Abdulrahman bin Saad Al Yahya said the report shows that the number of vehicles which crossed the causeway in both directions in 2015 reached 10,427,541 at a daily average of 28,569 vehicles, marking an increase of 6.23% compared to 2014. Meanwhile, the number of passengers who travelled via the causeway topped 23,646,748 at a daily average of 64,786 travellers in both directions, marking an increase of 5.8% compared to 2014. According to the report, the total number of passengers via King Fahad Causeway since its inauguration in 1986 and till the end of 2015 reached 305,402,045 in both directions.
