Crown Prince: Advancing values of moderation plays a constructive role in defeating extremism

Manama, June 22 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister this evening visited the majleses of the Al Jishi and Al Khuza’ai families, the sons of Abdul Karim Ahmed Al Ansari and the majlis of the late Abdulla Ahmed Nass. During the majlis visits, the Crown Prince highlighted the solidarity and unity that exist amongst all the people of Bahrain, stressing that the Kingdom, under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad, will deter any attempts that seek to undermine Bahrain’s stability. His Royal Highness went on to recall Bahrain’s rich history, which demonstrates its longstanding openness to other cultures around the world, particularly in the field of commerce. In this regard, His Royal Highness further recalled the Kingdom’s vital role as an important commercial hub that linked east and west, underscoring that Bahrain will further build on this legacy in achieving all of its development goals. The Crown Prince noted the crucial role that His Majesty King Hamad and His Royal Highness the Prime Minister, Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, play in advancing Bahrain’s economic development. His Royal Highness then emphasised the Bahraini people's commitment to advancing values of moderation, underlining their constructive role in defying extremism and its undermining effects. His Royal Highness emphasised that the people's values have allowed Bahrain to press on with its swift development and to maintain its security and stability. The Crown Prince noted that the principles of the Bahrain Economic Vision 2030 continue to make a significant contribution to accelerating the Kingdom's long-term development. The Crown Prince added that it is exactly these principles that deliver wide-ranging initiatives, which further improve citizens’ living standards. During the majlis visits, His Royal Highness underlined the importance of the efficient use of different resources in order to ensure sustainability and drive further development. The Crown Prince concluded by stressing that meeting Bahrain’s strategic goals of long-term development will require the combined efforts of all the Kingdom's people. The majlis hosts and guests expressed their gratitude for the Crown Prince’s visits, and highlighted the role these visits play in facilitating discussions on wide-ranging efforts aimed at fulfilling development goals and citizens’ aspirations. His Highness Shaikh Mohamed bin Salman Al Khalifa, son of His Royal Highness, accompanied the Crown Prince during his visits.
