Prince Saud Al-Faisal addresses Council of Arab Foreign Ministers

Kuwait, January 16, SPA--Prince Saud Al-Faisal, the Foreign Minister
of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and chairman of the current session of the
Council of the Arab League affirmed that the current phase requires
effective movement to capitalize on the United Nations Security
Council resolution No. 1860 on the Israeli military aggression on the
Gaza Strip.

Addressing an inauguration of the resumed extraordinary session of
the Council at the ministerial level here today, Prince Saud said
that the activation of the UN resolution comes through the steps to
support the Egyptian efforts for providing mechanisms for the rapid
implementation of the Security Council resolution, to intensify
diplomatic efforts to pressure Israel and to ensure its urgent
compliance with the resolution whatever may be any future options of
the Arab states.
