Terror blast will strengthen citizens' cohesion'

Manama, July 1 (BNA): Capital Governor Hisham bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa has strongly condemned the terror attack which occurred yesterday and led to the death of a Bahraini woman and the injury of three children whose car was hit by shrapnel from the blast in East Eker. The governor asserted that the loyal Bahraini citizens are well aware of the plots staged against them to impede the human, civilisational and economic development witnessed by the kingdom during His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa’s Reform Project. He pointed out that the terror blast will strengthen the Bahraini citizens’ cohesion and rallying behind the leadership in facing all forms of violence and sabotage. The governor expressed full confidence in the ability of the security authorities in uncovering the circumstances of the terrorist crime and bringing the perpetrators to justice. He offered warmest condolences and consolation to the family of the bereaved, praying to Allah Almighty to rest the soul of the victim in eternal peace and bless her relatives with patience and fortitude. He affirmed that the East Eker terrorist bombing is rejected by all conventions, divine religions and laws of civilized countries and international organizations.
