Bahrain condemns Bangladesh terrorist attack

Manama, July 2 (BNA): Bahrain has strongly condemned the shooting and hostage-taking that occurred in a restaurant in the diplomatic quarter in Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh, resulting in deaths and injuries. In a statement issued today, the ministry of Foreign Affairs extended condolences to the families and relatives of the victims, wishing speedy recovery to the injured in this terrorist attack which contravenes all divine religions and human values and morals. The ministry affirmed the solidarity of Bahrain with Bangladesh in all the measures it may take to underpin security, reinforce peace and protect its citizens and residents. It also reiterated the Kingdom’s firmly established position in the renunciation of all sorts of violence and terrorism and its calls for concerted international community’s efforts to eradicate this dangerous phenomenon and all its causes.
