Bahraini people's awareness frontline in foiling plots

Manama, July 3 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa praised awareness of the Bahraini people describing it as a frontline in thwarting plots against Bahrain. He was speaking as he received at Gudaibiya Palace today senior officials, intellectuals, media and economic personalities. HRH the Premier urged more vigilance to maintain social cohesion and national unity amid surging terrorism in many parts of the world. He warned of the danger of terrorism for the countries’ present and future, calling to overcome all obstacles to national welfare. He said more vigilance is needed amid unprecedented regional and international challenges, stressing that national unity, stability and prosperity is the government’s prime concern. He underlined Bahrain’s peaceful nature but asserted zero tolerance of attempts to interfere in its internal affairs, adding that plots to drive wedges among the united Bahraini people will be doomed to failure. HRH the Prime Minister underscored the importance of continuous communication between the Bahraini people and the need to maintain the one-family spirit which has ever charactrised the Bahraini community. He praised the outstanding role of journalists and media persons in highlighting national issues professionally, stressing support to them in performing their noble duty of enlightening the community and raising awareness. "The march of work for the benefit of the nation and people is going on," HRH the Premier said, reiterating resolve to overcome all challenges thanks to the strong will of the Bahraini people.
