Doha meeting issues communiqué

Doha, Jan 17, SPA -- The meeting which was held here yesterday in
response to an invitation from Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa al-Thani, the
Qatari Emir, deplored the Israeli savage aggression against Gaza
strip and called for ending all forms of aggression in Gaza strip as
well as for Israeli immediate and unconditional withdrawal.
The meeting which ended its deliberations here yesterday held Israel
responsible of the crimes of war.

The communiqué issued at the end of the meeting called for opening
openings for the individuals and humanitarian assistance including
food, fuel and medical treatment without obstacles.
The communiqué also called for lifting the illegal siege imposed on
Gaza strip and urged all countries to take the required measures for
realizing that goal.
Meanwhile, the communiqué called for extending humanitarian relief
assistance to the inhabitants of Gaza, and urged that Arab countries
and the peace-loving nations to take the required measures for
transporting relief assistance to the strip in addition to
establishing a fund for the reconstruction of Gaza.
The communiqué underscored the importance of the Palestinian national
reconciliation and called the Arab countries for the suspension of
the Arab peace initiative and ending all forms of normalization
including reconsidering the diplomatic and economic relations.
It lauded the countries which have taken a positive stand against the
aggression on Gaza.
The communiqué hailed the stand taken by Qatar and Mauritania as
regards freezing their relations with Israel.
It welcomed the call of Senegalese President Abdullah Wade, who is
the current chairman the Organizational the Islamic Conference (OIC)
for convening an extraordinary summit to review the Israeli vicious
aggression on Gaza.
