Minister receives US ambassador

Manama, July 31 (BNA): Electricity and Water Affairs Minister Dr. Abdulhussain Mirza received US Ambassador to Bahrain William V. Roebuck and political adviser Anne Pinit. The minister praised the close relations between the two countries, especially in the electricity and water sectors. He said these relations have evolved in the recent past. The minister said American experience had led to even more enhanced co-operation between the two sides and highlighted projects implemented by the Electricity and Water Authority (EWA). The ambassador thanked the minister and EWA officials for the welcome and hospitality and said the United States had always stressed on the need to enhance relations to serve the interests and aspirations of the two countries.
