Foreign Ministry hosts farewell ceremony for Jordanian ambassador

Manama, Aug. 1 (BNA): The Ministry of Foreign Affairs Undersecretary, Ambassador Abdulla Abdullatif Abdulla, hosted at the ministry today a farewell ceremony in honour of outgoing Jordanian Ambassador to Bahrain Mohammed Ali Abdul-Hameed Siraj. The Undersecretary praised strong brotherly ties between Bahrain and Jordan and progress of historic relations in various fields. He also lauded the outstanding efforts of the Jordanian ambassador during his term, which he said contributed to bolstering relations between the two countries and their peoples. The Jordanian ambassador expressed thanks and appreciation to all officials in the Kingdom of Bahrain for their cooperation during his term in Bahrain, affirming that fraternal, outstanding and strong ties were thanks to the keenness of the leaderships of the two countries to provide all necessary means to bolster relations, wishing Bahrain and its people further progress and prosperity. At the end of the ceremony, the Undersecretary presented the Jordanian ambassador with a commemorative gift marking the occasion, wishing him further success. (MOFA)
