Bahrain under-14 handball team to head to Turkey

Manama, Aug. 4 (BNA): The Bahrain under-14 national handball team will head to Turkey early tomorrow morning to take part in a friendly international tournament. The national squad is stepping up preparations ahead of the 7th Asian qualifications, scheduled to start on August 27th in Bahrain. Bahrain is taking part in the championship alongside Egypt, Turkey and Iran which are also preparing for the continental qualifications to the World Championship in Tbilisi, Georgia in summer 2017. Bahrain Handball Association board member Abdulwahed Al-Eskafi is leading the delegation which includes team director Ali Radhi Al-Asfoor, the administrative and technical staff, along with 18 players.
