Bahrain Summer Festival to conclude

Manama, Aug. 5 (BNA): The month-long Bahrain Summer Festival will conclude tomorrow with a ceremony at the "Nakhool Tent", next to the Bahrain National Museum. The festival’s sponsors, members of the culture community and the festival mascots Nakhool and Nakhoola will be present. The ceremony will feature performances by the renowned Mohammed bin Faris Music Band and the Bahrain Police Music Band. The winner of the "Nakhool" completion and the festival’s sponsors will also be honoured. The Nakhool Tent will remain open to families and children on Sunday, from 16:00 to 21:00. The festival comes as part of a wider strategic initiative spearheaded by the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities (BACA) to Boost Bahrain’s position as a regional cultural tourism hub. Held under the theme "Your Destination Bahrain", the 8th edition of the festival will featured the usual amazing lineup of top shows and artists at the Cultural Hall representing a wide range of genres and cultures, as well as an interactive edutainment program at the Nakhool Tent.
