Illegal rally participants questioned, charged

Manama, Aug. 7 (BNA): Deputy Prosecutor in the Northern Governorate, Abdullah Al Thawadi, said the Public Prosecution received a report from Budaiya Police Station informing that several individuals had been rallying in Al-Deraz area, some of them identified. The Prosecution investigated the incident immediately following its receiving the report. Today, three suspects have been questioned, two of them released and one has been detained, after charging them with illegal rallying in breach of the law. Investigations continue to prepare the lawsuit papers for a court hearing.
