Baku summit of presidents in Russian media spotlight

Russian television channels have widely covered a trilateral summit involving the Azerbaijani, Iranian and Russian Presidents in Baku.
Russia 24 channel provided a live coverage of the summit, including speeches by Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, Iranian President Hassan Rouhani and Russian President Vladimir Putin.
The summit also grabbed the spotlight of the Channel One Russia. The channel said the Russian, Iranian and Azerbaijani presidents discussed large-scale projects, including North-South Transport Corridor that will stretch from India to the Northern Europe. The channel also underlined that struggle against terrorism and security issues topped the agenda of the summit. In his report, journalist Ilya Kostin said the meeting of the Azerbaijani, Iranian and Russian leaders was the first gathering of the three Caspian countries in such a format.
In other report, Channel One Russia focused on the meeting between presidents Ilham Aliyev and Vladimir Putin.
Euronews also provided an extensive coverage of the summit, as well as Vladimir Putin`s visit to Azerbaijan and his meetings with presidents Ilham Aliyev and Hassan Rouhani.
