Bahrain's youth care experience hailed

Manama, Aug. 14 (BNA): Minister of Youth and Sports Affairs Hisham bin Mohammed Al-Jowdar received here today a delegation from the Sharjah Supreme Council for Family Affairs, led by the Sharjah Children Centres Director, Reem Abdulrahim bin Karam.
The minister affirmed the depth of the Bahraini-UAE relations, praising the steady progress of joint cooperation in various fields.
He informed the delegation about Bahrain’s experience in taking care of youngsters, youth and girls through the launch of many programmes that train them, hone their talent ad skills and prepare them for the labour market.
Reem Abdulrahim bin Karam lauded Bahrain’s pioneering experience in the field of youngsters’ care, praising at the same time the Youth City 2030, being among the leading youth projects at the regional level. She asserted that Bahrain’s advanced experience should be emulated by GCC countries in order to prepare effective youth leaders.
It is worth noting that a delegation from the the Sharjah Supreme Council for Family Affairs’ youngsters are taking part in a number of events featuring in the Youth City 2030 from August 14 to 18 for the aim of encouraging GCC youth to showcase their skills and talent.
