Medal of Creativity in Charity Work contest launched

Manama, Aug 16 (BNA): Bahrain Information Technology Society (BITS) has announced the launch of the second version of the Medal of Creativity in Charity Work contest. BITS Chairman Salah Al-Binjasim said the contest targets bolstering values of giving and encouraging individual and institutional initiatives to promote and develop voluntary work amid the big qualitative leap witnessed by Bahrain in the same field. He called for active participation in the contest. He added winning projects will include the best influential technology initiative, best website, best social media campaign, best online service, best smart media application. The dead line for receiving projects is 15 September 2016. Winners will be honoured at a special ceremony to be held on 23 October 2016 in the presence of a large audience.
