Bahrain strongly condemns shooting of Qatif patrol

Manama, Aug. 17 (BNA): Bahrain has strongly condemned the shooting that targeted Qatif Police patrol in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, leading to the martyrdom of one soldier. In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed its sincere condolences to the family and relatives of the martyr in this terrorist crime that contravenes all divine religions and human and moral values. "The ministry affirms the full solidarity of the Kingdom of Bahrain with the brotherly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its support for all the measures it takes to reinforce security and promote stability all over its territories," the statement said. "It also backs the great and incessant efforts exerted by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to underpin regional and world peace and security, reiterating the unwavering stance of the kingdom of Bahrain in rejecting all forms of violence, extremism and terrorism and calling for concerted efforts to eradicate terrorism and dry up its funds."
