Bahrain gearing up for cruise tourism season

Manama, Aug. 20 (BNA): Bahrain is stepping up preparations ahead of the cruise ship tourism, scheduled to start in November. Interior Ministry Assistant Undersecretary for Exits, Search and Follow-up Brigadier Abdulrahman Saleh Al Senan visited the seaports department and inspected ongoing preparations. He was updated about plans to streamlined procedures for passengers during the upcoming cruise tourism season in compliance with directives to facilitate the movement through entry points, comply with security measures and commit with international passenger service standards. Brig. Al-Senan commended the employees working at entry point, stressing their role in projecting Bahrain’s civilized image. He urged them to exert more efforts to streamline entry procedures and ensure accuracy in performing their duties.
